Victorian Etruscan Revival Hinged Bangle from the Connecticut estate of an early mill-owning family. This exquisite unmarked (most Victorian and earlier pieces did not carry a gold or silver mark) 15K gold with sterling bracelet is approximately 140 years old. Probably British, possibly souvenir of a young Victorian lady's "Grand Tour" of Europe. Safety chain is present, slight denting to smooth side. Internal circumference 6.5". Original patina.
