Ice Skating Brooch

Vintage winter pin of a Victorian couple ice skating. This pin is one of The Clutter Shop’s  extensive Christmas/Winter pin collection. It measures 2 1/4 inches tall, and depicts skaters with pine trees in the background and “flocked” glitter-under-glaze snow (does not come off). The woman holds a muff while the man sports a bowler style hat. Gold tone with vibrant reds and greens. The woman’s dress has a small indent mark, it appears to have happened in the making, as the indent is filled with the red dress color, appearing darker than the rest of the dress. This piece is signed AJC (American Jewelry Co.) my guess is circa 1980s.
